Hotel DeBrett is on the corner of High Street and Shortland Streets in downtown Auckland and is about 25km north west of Auckland Airport. A taxi fare could cost from NZ$60 - NZ$80 depending on time of day and taxi company.If travelling by private car from the airport, follow the George Bolt Memorial Drive onto the motorway and head towards the city. Take the Hillsborough turn-off and turn right onto Manukau Road. Continue until you reach Newmarket. At the lights, turn left and drive to the end of the street. Turn right at the lights into Gillies Avenue and back onto the motorway. Travel north and take the Nelson Street exit. Follow Nelson Street to the end and turn right into Victoria Street. Then turn left into Queen St. Turn right into Shortland St, then take the first right into High St.
