The family has farmed at Linton since 1932, Grange Farm is a working farm of dairy cattle and sheep. The name Laithe' comes from antiquity meaning barn. The picture on the right is of one of the family helping to deliver milk by horse and cart. Linton is near Grassington, within the Yorkshire Dales National Park and famous for its Music Festivals and Dickensian Christmas Markets and yet only eight miles from Skipton. It is one of the most unspoiled picture postcard villages in Wharfedale. Away from busy tourist spots, it is the ideal place to relax and enjoy walking, the water falls and the beautiful countryside that surrounds Linton Laithe.
